During my exploration in the darkroom, I discovered a material that resonated deeply with my vision—one that evoked memories, fading, floating, invisibility, blurriness, and the interchangeability of fragments. I began working with light-sensitive gelatine emulsion, seeking to move beyond the confines of two-dimensionality and instead to encapsulate these elements within a form that was static and tangible. This body of work centred on representing the elusive nature of memory and the mind—fragile, transient, and constantly shifting. Through the interplay of movement and repetition, these fragments either merge, separate, or dissipate, reflecting the fluid and impermanent qualities of our mental landscape.
